Maharashtra Governor condoles demise of Chhattisgarh Governor Balram Das Tandon

The Governor of Maharashtra CH. Vidyasagar Rao has expressed grief over the demise of Governor of Chhattisgarh Balram Das Tandon in Raipur on Tuesday (14th Aug).

In a condolence message, Governor Vidyasagar Rao said, “Shri Balram Das Ji Tandon rendered distinguished services to the people of the country for nearly seven decades. Sri Tandon was an organization man and served the people of Punjab as a legislator for many years. As Governor of Chhattisgarh, Shri Tandon upheld the dignity of the post of Governor with his impartial conduct. I had the privilege of knowing Shri Tandon. He was a kind and gentle person. In his demise, the nation has lost an outstanding parliamentarian and a dedicated public servant.”
