    Maharashtra Governor, CM pay tribute to martyrs of 26 /11 terrorist attacks; US Ambassador also pays tributes

    Maharashtra Governor CH. Vidyasagar Rao and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis placed wreaths and saluted the martyrs at the site of the Police Martyrs’ Memorial, in Mumbai on the occasion the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on Mumbai on Monday (26 Nov). The Ambassador of the United States in India Kenneth Juster also paid tributes to the martyrs. The Police Band played the Last Post and Rouse on the occasion.

    The Salutation Ceremony was organised by the Mumbai Police to pay tributes to the police offers, jawans and commandos of NSG who laid down their lives during the terrorist attacks 10 years ago.

    Maharashtra’s Minister for Higher Education Vinod Tawde, Minister of Animal Husbandary, Dairy and Fisheries Mahadeo Jankar, Ministers of State Deepak Kesarkar and Ranjit Patil, Members of State Legislature Raj Purohit, Bhai Jagtap and Amin Patel, Chief Secretary D K Jain, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Sunil Porwal, Director General of Police Datta Padsalgikar, Commissioner of Police, Brihan Mumbai Subodh Jayaswal and family members of martyred police officers and police personnel also paid tributes at the Police Martyrs’ Memorial.

    Serving and retired police officers were present on the occasion.
