Maharashtra Governor attends ‘Kshamapana Samaroh’ organized by Jain Organizations
Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari attended the ‘Kshamapana Samaroh’ organized by the Bharat Jain Mahamandal in Mumbai on Sunday (22 Sept).
Jain Sadhus and Sadhvis from all four major Jain Sampradays were present.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said, ‘Kshamapana Samaroha’ organized by the Jain community after the Paryushan Parva was a unique spiritual festival in the world. He said Kshamapana (forgiveness) is the biggest virtue of human beings. He expressed the hope that India will become a Vishwaguru once again.
The Governor felicitated business leader Motilal Oswal, social worker Khyalilal Tated and others and presented the Jain Ratna Awards on this occasion.
His Holiness Munishri Pramukhsagarji Maharaj and other Jain Sadhus and Sadhvis were present on the dais.
Judge of the Bombay High Court Justice K K Tated, Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India Mahesh Jain, industrialist Mohan Pameja, President of Bharat Jain Mahamandal K C Jain and a large number of citizens were present.
