    Integrity Pledge’ given to Raj Bhavan staff, officers on Vigilance Awareness Week

    Integrity Pledge was given to the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan on the first day of the Vigilance Awareness Week at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Monday (29th October 2018).

    Officers and staff of Raj Bhavan took the pledge ‘to neither take nor offer bribe and to perform all tasks in a transparent manner’ on this occasion.

    Deputy Secretary to the Governor Ranjit Kumar read out the Integrity Pledge which was repeated by the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan and by the staff of PWD and police officials posted at Raj Bhavan.

    Messages of Governor CH. Vidyasagar Rao and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were also read out by the Comptroller of the Governor’s Households Vasant Salunke on the occasion.

    In his message, the Governor stated that E- governance, simplification of procedures, minimal discretion and technology-based procurement and automation can help in reducing corruption and in building a New Maharashtra.

    Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in his message observed that the Vigilance Awareness Week would create awareness about preventing malpractices in the administrative machinery.

    The Government of Maharashtra is commemorating Vigilance Awareness Week from 29th October to 3rd November. The theme of observing Vigilance Awareness Week is ‘Eradicate Corruption – Build a New India’.
