    Governor, CM, Sadhguru plant saplings on the occasion of World Environment Day

    Maharashtra Governor CH. Vidyasagar Rao, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Finance, Planning and Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar and Founder of Isha Foundation Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev planted saplings on the occasion of World Environment Day at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Wednesday (5th June).

    The Governor accompanied by the dignitaries witnessed the plantation carried out by volunteers of the Dr Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratishthan. The volunteers planted 300 saplings on the occasion in the Raj Bhavan complex which boasts of 6000 trees of various species.

    The Governor, Chief Minister and Sadhguru later visited the century-old beach in Raj Bhavan and saw the vegetation.

    The tree plantation campaign in Raj Bhavan was organized in association with the Forest Department and the Dr Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratishan.

    Principal Secretary Forest Vikas Kharge, Secretary Agriculture Eknath Dawale and officials of Raj Bhavan, Forest and Public Works department were present.
