31.08.2025: Governor’s Eco-friendly Ganesh moorty immersed in artificial pond
31.08.2025: The eco-friendly Ganesh murti installed at the residence of Maharashtra Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan was immersed in an artificial pond at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai. The Governor joined the Raj Bhavan staff, officers and guests in performing the aarti of Lord Ganesha while bidding farewell to the God of Wisdom. The Governor then immersed the idol in a decorated artificial pond in front of his residence. The 5-day Ganesh installed at the Governor’s residence was made of shadu clay and was crafted by inmates of Nashik Prison. Secretary to the Governor Dr. Prashant Narnaware, ISKCON’s Gaurang Das, Deputy Secretary S. Ramamoorthy, and officers and staff of Raj Bhavan were present.
