27.07.2024: Governor presents the Indian CSR Excellence Awards

27.07.2024: Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais presented the 'Indian CSR Excellence Awards' to the heads and CSR heads of various Corporates and Public Sector organisations for their work under CSR at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. The awards function was organised by 'Indian CSR One Decade Celebration Committee'. Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, Chairman of the Indian CSR One Decade Celebration Committee Dr Huzaifa Khorakiwala, Co Chairman of the Committee Dr Bhaskar Chatterjee and invitees were present. The Governor felicitated the Chairman of Godrej Industries Group Nadir Godrej and CSR Head of Coal India Ltd Renu Chaturvedi on the occasion. Heads and representatives of Ajanta Pharma, GAIL, Hindustan Lever, ITC, LIC, Mahindra & Mahindra, Navneet Education, NTPC, Petronet Vikas, Power Finance Corporation, SBI etc.were also honoured. The Governor presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr Bhaskar Chatterjee. The Governor released the Cover Page of the Vision Document 'Bharatiya CSR Ke Dus Saal: Agle Dus Saal Bemisal' on the occasion.
