23.10.2025 : The Governor of Maharashtra and Gujarat, Acharya Devvrat, paid a visit to INS Shikra and interacted with naval officers and sailors. He commended their commending their unwavering dedication and exemplary service to the nation. In the spirit of Diwali and national pride, the Governor warmly exchanged festive greetings with the personnel, conveying his heartiest wishes for their well-being, prosperity, and continued excellence in duty. As a token of respect and camaraderie, senior naval officers presented a memento to the Governor. Marking the occasion, Governor Acharya Devvrat penned his reflections in the visitor’s book, expressing deep appreciation for the valour, discipline, and commitment of the Indian Navy.
