23.02.2026: The Consul General of Japan in Mumbai Yagi Koji called on Maharashtra and Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat at Lok Bhavan, Mumbai. The Consul General told the Governor that Japan has helped in the Mumbai - Ahmedabad High Speed Railway project, Atal Setu and Metro Line 3 projects. The Vice-Consul and Head of the Political and Economic Affairs in Japan Consulate Mr. Nishio Ryo, Secretary to the Governor Dr Prashant Narnaware and Joint Secretary S Ramamoorthy were also present.
