22.03.2025: Bihar State Foundation Day celebrated in Maharashtra Raj Bhavan
22.03.2025: The State Foundation Day of Bihar was celebrated in presence of Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan at Maharashtra Raj Bhavan in Mumbai. The State Formation Day of Bihar was organised as part of the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' initiative of Government of India. A cultural programme comprising the Jhijhia and Jat Jatin Folk Dances of the Mithila region of Bihar, a Bhojpuri Song and the State Song of Bihar were presented by the students of the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. An audio-visual film showing the history and legacy of Bihar was also shown. Secretary to the Governor Dr Prashant Narnaware, Vice Chancellor of the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada UniversityProf. Vijay Fulari, Deputy Secretary to the Governor S Ramamoorthy, Cultural Coordinators and officers and staff of Raj Bhavan were present. Secretary to the Governor Dr. Prashant Narnaware delivered the welcome address while Under Secretary Vikas Kulkarni proposed the vote of thanks.
