Zoom 21.05.2026: Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma administered the Anti Terrorism Pledge to the staff and officers of Lok Bhavan on the occasion of Anti Terrorism Day at Lok Bhavan, Mumbai. The Governor read out the pledge which was repeated by those present. The pledge expressed the resolve ‘to oppose all forms of terrorism and violence’ and to promote ‘peace, social harmony and understanding’ among fellow citizens. The death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi is commemorated as 'Anti Terrorism Day'. Secretary to the Governor Dr Prashant Narnaware, Joint Secretary S Ramamoorthy, Comptroller of the Governor's Households Dr Nishikant Deshpande, staff and officers of Lok Bhavan and state police were present.
