20.02.2025: Governor presides over the State Formation Day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram States in Raj Bhavan, Mumbai
20.02.2025: The State Formation Day of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram States was celebrated in the presence of Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of Universities C. P. Radhakrishnan at Raj Bhavan Mumbai.The Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram State Foundation Day was celebrated as part of the 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' initiative of Government of India.A cultural programme depicting the rich culture, folk dance and traditions of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram was presented on the occasion. The Cultural programme was presented by the students of Sydenham College, the constituent college of Dr Homi Bhabha State University. Two audio visual films showing the beauty and well-known tourist destinations of the two States were also shown on the occasion. Secretary to the Governor Dr Prashant Narnaware, Deputy Secretary S Ramamoorthy, Vice Chancellor of Dr Homi Bhabha State University Prof Rajneesh Kamat, Principals of affiliated colleges, members of faculty and students were present on the occasion. The Governor felicitated Sanjeevani Bhelande, alumnus of Sydenham College for presenting the Arunachal Pradesh State Song.
