15.10.2022 : The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari offered floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr A P J Abdul Kalam on the 91st birth anniversary of the late former President of India commemorated at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. The day is also commemorated as 'Vachan Prerana Diwas' in Maharashtra.

15.10.2022 : भारताचे माजी राष्ट्रपती आणि थोर वैज्ञानिक भारतरत्न डॉ ए.पी.जे.अब्दुल कलाम यांच्या ९१ व्या जयंतीनिमित्त राज्यपाल भगतसिंह कोश्यारी यांनी डॉ कलाम यांच्या प्रतिमेला पुष्पांजली वाहून अभिवादन केले. राज्यात १५ ऑक्टोबर हा दिवस 'वाचन प्रेरणा दिवस' म्हणून साजरा केला जातो.
