11.12.2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched through virtual mode, the initiative 'Viksit Bharat @ 2047 : Voice of Youth' that seeks to involve the universities and students in attaining the goal of a developed India by 2047. #Ideas4ViksitBharat. The Prime Minister addressed the workshop of Vice-Chancellors, Heads of public and private universities and educational Institutions organised on the Viksit Bharat by Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on the occasion. The Governor's address was preceded by panel discussions on the themes of 'Empowered Indians', 'Thriving and Sustainable Economy', 'Innovation, Science and Technology', 'Good Governance and Security', 'India in the World', 'Role of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry in Viksit Bharat' and 'Engaging Youths for Contributing ideas on Viksit Bharat'. Former Minister and Chancellor of Pimpri Chinchwad University Harshwardhan Patil, vice chancellors and heads of 40 universities participated in the discussion.
