04.04.2023 : A delegation of Defence officers meets Governor

04.04.2023 : A group of serving and retired senior Defence officers led by NITIE Director Prof. Manoj Kumar Tiwari met Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais at Raj Bhavan Mumbai. The Senior Defence Officers nominated by DGR are in Mumbai to attend the Independent Directors programme designed and conducted at NITIE. Lt.Gen. S P Goswami, Maj.Gen. S Q Ahmed, Maj.Gen. R P Singh and other senior officers were present. The delegates expressed the view that their vast experience of serving the nation in leadership positions could be better utilized by the Corporates, business organisations and academic institutions. In this connection, NITIE sought the Governor's intervention in appointing the senior Defence officers as Independent Directors in the Boards of various companies.

04.04.2023 : भारतीय सशस्त्र सैन्य दलातील सेवेतील तसेच निवृत्त वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांच्या एका शिष्टमंडळाने राज्यपाल रमेश बैस यांची राजभवन मुंबई येथे सदिच्छा भेट घेतली. नीटी - राष्ट्रीय औद्योगिक इंजिनिअरी संस्थांचे (नीटी) महासंचालक डॉ मनोज कुमार तिवारी यांच्या नेतृत्वाखाली अधिकाऱ्यांनी राज्यपालांची भेट घेतली. डायरेक्टरेट जनरल ऑफ रिसेटलमेंट तर्फे नामनिर्देशित सैन्य दलातील अधिकाऱ्यांकरिता नीटीतर्फे मुंबई येथे इंडिपेन्डन्ट डिरेक्टर्स कार्यक्रमाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले आहे. यावेळी ले. जन. एस पी. गोस्वामी, मे.जन. एस. क्यू. अहमद, मे.जन. आर. पी. सिंह यांसह वरिष्ठ अधिकारी यावेळी उपस्थित होते. लष्करातून सेवा निवृत्त झालेल्या अधिकाऱ्यांच्या ज्ञानाचा व नेतृत्व गुणांचा उपयोग देशाची अर्थव्यवस्था बळकट करण्यासाठी व्हावा यासाठी त्यांना कॉर्पोरेट्स, मोठे व्यवसाय यांच्या नियामक मंडळावर इंडिपेन्डन्ट डिरेक्टर्स म्हणून नेमले जावे, अशी विनंती यावेळी नीटीतर्फे राज्यपालांना करण्यात आली.
