‘Decide your aims and strive hard to achieve those’: Maha Governor tells students
The Govenror of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari today asked youths to set their aims and strive hard to achieve the goals. He appealed to students to become job creators through innovation and enterprise. “The New India will be made by the youths of the country,” said the Governor.
The Governor was speaking after inaugurating the Students’ Innovation and Enterpreneurship Centre in Mumbai on Monday (23rd Sept).
The Governor also launched the School of Hospitality and Culinary Art, an initiative of the Indian School of Design and Innovation.
Former Sheriff of Mumbai and President of Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI) Dr Indu Shahani, former Vice Chancellor of the University of Mumbai Dr Vijay Khole, Director of ISDI Siddharth Shahani, Head of the School of Hospitality Dr Sonia Bharwani, members of faculty and students of Design, Management and Communication were present.
Addressing the students, Governor Koshyari said India has emerged as the most youthful nation in the world. The nation is receiving admiration and respect from all countries of the world. He called upon youths to pursue excellence in whichever stream they opted for their under graduation to make New India.
The Governor was shown around the various social innovation projects made by the students on the occasion.
