CM to perform Bhumipujan of New Darbar Hall at Raj Bhavan

    The Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis will perform the Bhumipujan of the New Darbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, Mumbai in presence of Governor CH. Vidyasagar Rao at 1015 hrs on Thursday (20th Dec).

    The Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone of the new building of the Governor’s Secretariat on this occasion. According to the Public Works Department, the New Darbar Hall and the Governor’s Secretariat building are expected to be ready by 31st January 2020.

    The old Darbar Hall had a seating capacity of 250, the new Darbar Hall will have a capacity of 900 seats.

    Minister of Finance and Planning Sudhir Mungantiwar, Minister of Public Works Chandrakant Patil, Minister of State Pravin Pote Patil will remain present on the occasion.
