Governor, Dy CM offer tributes to Sardar Patel, Indira Gandhi / Governor gives National Unity Pledge to staff, officers

Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis offered floral tributes to the portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on the occasion of the 148th birth anniversary of the former Deputy Prime Minister of India at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Tue (31 Oct).

The Governor and Fadnavis also paid floral tributes to the portrait of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 39th death anniversary.

The birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is celebrated as ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’. The Governor accompanied by the deputy chief minister read out the National Unity pledge to the staff and officers of Raj Bhavan on the occasion.
