Governor inaugurates Blood Donation Camp on Sardar Patel Birth Anniversary
Governor’s Principal Secretary, Spl Secretary, ADC donate blood
Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari inaugurated a blood donation camp on the occasion of the 146th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Sunday (31st).
Principal Secretary to the Governor Santosh Kumar, Special Secretary Rakesh Naithani, ADC Vishal Anand and officers and staff of Raj Bhavan donated blood on the occasion. The Blood donation camp was organized by Raj Bhavan in association with Sir J J Group of Hospitals.
Earlier the Governor offered floral tributes to the portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, whose death anniversary is also being observed today.
The Governor read out the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge to the staff and officers of Raj Bhavan on the occasion of National Unity Day.
The Governor praised the role of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Indira Gandhi towards the cause of national integration.
