28.10.2024: Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan presided over the 70th Year Jubilee Celebrations of The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL) at Sahar Mumbai. The Governor released the Special Souvenir on the occasion. The Governor conferred the 'Vastra Shiromani' Award on the 'Cotton Man of India' Suresh Kotak. Sanjay Jayavarthanalu (Vastra Vibhushan) and R K Dalmia (Vastra Bhushan) were also honoured. Anil Kumar Jain, M Nachimuthu, Deepali Goenka, Rajinder GUpta, S P Oswal and Kulin Lalbhai were presented the Vastra Ratna Awards. Sunil Patwari, Chairman TEXPROCIL, Roop Rashi, Textile Commissioner, Vijay Agrawal, Vice Chairman TEXPROCIL, Dr. Siddhartha Rajagopal, Executive Director TEXPROCIL and members of the Council were present.

‘Cotton Man of India’ Suresh Kotak presented Vastra Shiromani Award

Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan presided over the 70th Year Jubilee Celebrations of The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL) at Sahar Mumbai on Mon (28 Oct). The Governor presented the excellence awards in textiles to doyens of the textile industry and released the Special Souvenir on the occasion.

The Governor conferred the ‘Vastra Shiromani’ Award on the ‘Cotton Man of India’ Suresh Kotak.

Sanjay Jayavarthanalu (Vastra Vibhushan) and R K Dalmia (Vastra Bhushan) were also honoured. Anil Kumar Jain, M Nachimuthu, Deepali Goenka, Rajinder Gupta, S P Oswal and Kulin Lalbhai were presented the TEXPROCIL ‘Vastra Ratna’ Awards by the Governor.
