Maha Governor condoles demise of Dr M S Swaminathan

Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais has expressed grief over the demise of the father of India’s Green Revolution Dr M S Swaminathan. In a condolence message, the Governor wrote:

“Dr M. S. Swaminathan transformed the face of Indian agriculture and was instrumental in making India ‘Atma Nirbhar’ in the production of foodgrains. In his demise, India has lost a one man Agricultural University.”
