Maharashtra Lok Bhavan Hosts Central Asian Youth Delegation
A 100-member youth delegation from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan visited the Lok Bhavan Club, Mumbai, as part of a cultural and youth exchange program.
Joint Secretary to the Governor of Maharashtra S. Ramamoorthy, delivered addresses underscoring India’s commitment to strengthening cultural and youth ties.
The event was graced by dignitaries including Ministry of External Affairs Smt. Prativa Lama, IFS, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Sanjeev Kapoor, State Director, MY Bharat, Maharashtra-Goa Amit Punde, State Nodal Officer, NSS Dr. Milind Kale,.
The program commenced with the National Anthem, followed by a welcome address by Shri Amit Punde. Delegates from Central Asia shared their experiences, highlighting the spirit of friendship and cooperation between India and the region.
The proceedings concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Sanjeev Kapoor, the National Anthem, and refreshments.
This gathering marked a significant step in fostering mutual understanding, cultural exchange, and youth collaboration between India and Central Asian nations.
