    ‘Integrity Pledge’ given to Raj Bhavan staff, officers on Vigilance Awareness Week

    Integrity Pledge was given to the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan on the first day of the Vigilance Awareness Week at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Tuesday (26th October 2020).

    Officers and staff of Raj Bhavan took the pledge ‘to neither take nor offer bribe and to perform all tasks in a transparent manner’ on this occasion.

    Principal Secretary to the Governor Santosh Kumar read out the Integrity Pledge which was repeated by the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan and by the staff of PWD posted at Raj Bhavan.

    Messages of Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray were also read out on the occasion.

    Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in his message observed that corruption creates obstacles in the implementation of development schemes of public welfare. He called for creating awareness among citizens and administrative machinery on this issue.

    The Government of Maharashtra is commemorating Vigilance Awareness Week from 26th October to 1st November. The theme of observing Vigilance Awareness Week is ‘Independent India @ 75 Self Reliance with Intergrity’.
