Governor presents Dr APJ Abdul Kalam awards

Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari presented the Bharat Ratna Dr A P J Abdul Kalam awards for notable social work to 10 eminent personalities at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Sunday (24th Oct)

Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale and President of the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Global Foundation Dr Shamim Khan were present.

The Awards instituted by Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Global Foundation were presented to CA Vijayasharath Balasundaram, CEO of Wockhardt Foundation Dr Huzeifa Khorakiwala, Dr Inder Mourya, youth icon Mikki Koomar, real estate leader Vinod Bhoir, Roopavati Gopal Naidu, Dipti Nagrecha, Soumya Shetty, Tarun Tandel and film star Payal Ghosh.
