Governor presides over the Foundation Day of the Insurance Brokers Association of India (IBAI)

Governor of Maharashtra Shri C P Radhakrishnan, addressed the Foundation Day of the Insurance Brokers Association of India (IBAI), marking its Silver Jubilee. He commended IBAI’s vital role in strengthening insurance awareness and accessibility across India. Governor informed that Brokers have a vital role to play in implementing Pradhan Mantri’s Vision of ‘Insurance For All’ by 2047.

Highlighting the significance of insurance as a tool for social security and economic resilience, the Governor emphasized brokers as key enablers of trust and protection. He proposed collaborative insurance education initiatives with universities to nurture future professionals in the sector.

Congratulating IBAI on its 25-year journey, the Governor expressed confidence that India’s broker community would continue to play a pivotal role in shaping a financially secure and inclusive nation.

Governor released the I Broker- Commemorative edition & the ‘IBAI & McKinsey Report’ and Felicitated the Past Presidents and secretaries on this occasion.

Member, Insurance Committee ISFCA & Ex Member IRDAI, Smt. T. L. Alamelu, Member Distribution Shri Satyajit Tripathy, President, IBAI, Narendra Bharindwal, Vice President IBAI, S Mohan, Secretary Nirmal Bazaz, Past Office Bearers & Members of IBAI alongwith invitees were present.
