Governor Koshyari condoles demise of Tarun Gogoi

The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari has expressed condolences on the demise of former Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi. In a condolence message, Governor Koshyari wrote:

“Shri Tarun Gogoi was a successful chief minister and popular leader of Assam. He made a handsome contribution to the development of Assam during his long tenure as Chief Minister. In his demise, Assam and the nation at large has lost an experienced and learned leader. Pay my respects to late Shri Gogoi and convey my condolences to the members of the bereaved family.”
