Maharashtra Governor inaugurates Centre of Innovation in Mumbai

Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma inaugurated the ‘Centre for Innovation’ launched by ATLAS SkillTech University to promote innovative skill-based education at the BKC Campus of the University in Mumbai on Fri (24 April).

The Governor also inaugurated a National Seminar on “Governing AI: Law, Technology and Society,” organised in collaboration with O P Jindal Global University and the Cyril Shroff Centre for AI, Law and Regulation.

Earlier the Governor visited the Centre for Innovation and interacted with students about the innovative initiatives and experiments being carried out by them.

Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of O P Jindal Global University; Cyril Shroff, Managing Partner of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas; Ronnie Screwvala, Chairman of upGrad; Prof Parag Amin, Registrar; faculty members, invitees and students were present.
