Twelve Redeveloped Railway Stations under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme Inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Across Central Railway in Maharashtra.
Maharashtra witnessed a landmark moment in railway infrastructure development today with the inauguration of 12 redeveloped stations across Central Railway. These include five stations each in the Mumbai and Bhusaval divisions, and two in the Pune division. The event was part of a nationwide event where the Hon’ble Prime Minister dedicated 103 redeveloped railway stations to the nation under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
Distinguished dignitaries graced the occasion at various locations across the state to mark this significant milestone.
In the Mumbai Division:At Parel Station, Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, and Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, attended the event along with Shri Dharam Veer Meena, General Manager, Central Railway, and Shri Hiresh Meena, Divisional Railway Manager, Mumbai Division.
To engage and inspire the younger generation, essay and drawing competitions were organized in schools as part of the event. Prizes were distributed today by Shri Dharam Veer Meena, General Manager, Central Railway, recognizing the creativity and enthusiasm of participating students.
At Chinchpokli Station, Shri Madhukar Mohol, Hon’ble Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation, and Shri Arvind Sawant, Member of Parliament, were present.
At Savada Station, Smt. Raksha Khadse, Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, were present.
At Murtizapur Station, Shri Anup Dhotre, Member of Parliament, were present.
At Vadala Road Station, Shri Kalidas Kolambkar, Hon’ble MLA, were present.
At Shahad Station, Shri Kumar Ailani, Hon’ble MLA, were present.
