    Governor inaugurates Indo-US Conclave on Climate Change

    Commends the work of Govardhan Eco Village

    The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari inaugurated an Indo – US Conclave on Climate Change through an online platform from Raj Bhavan, Mumbai on Monday (22 Mar).

    The Conclave was organized by the Govardhan Eco Village in association with City University of New York on the occasion of World Water Day.

    Stating that India has always been a nature worshipping country, the Governor called for preserving the sanctity of nature and its elements like earth and water to ensure sustainable development. In this connection the Governor praised the efforts of Govardhan Eco Village to promote sustainable development.

    Founder of Govardhan Eco Village Radhanath Swamy, Consul General of the United States of America in Mumbai David Ranz, industrialist Ajay Piramal, India’s Consul General in New York Randhir Jaiswal and representatives of the City University of New York were present.
