Governor reviews work of Shivaji University

Maharashtra Governor and Chancellor of State Universities C.P. Radhakrishnan conducted a review of Shivaji University, Kolhapur at Raj Bhavan Mumbai.

Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Dr D.T. Shirke made a presentation before the Governor.

Status of implementation of the National Education Policy in Key Result Areas, Academic Research and Internationalisation, Student Placement status, Translation project, Implementation of internship programme, Common Academic Calendar, Hostel facilities for students, upgradation of sports infrastructure, Swachh Bharat and Viksit Bharat initiatives were among the subjects discussed at the meeting.

Pro VC Prof PS Patil, Dean of Faculty of Commerce S S Mahajan and Director of the Board of Examination and Evaluation Dr A N Jadhav were present.
