Raj Bhavan Officers & staff take Sadbhavana Day Pledge

Floral tributes were offered to the portrait of Rajiv Gandhi on the occasion of the 81st birth anniversary of the late Prime Minister of India at Maharashtra Raj Bhavan in Mumbai on Wed (20 Aug.)

Deputy Secretary to the Governor S. Ramamoorthy administered the ‘Sadbhavana Day Pledge’ to the officers and staff of Raj Bhavan on the occasion. The birth anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi is observed as ‘Sadbhavana Diwas’. Staff and Officers of Raj Bhavan were administered the Sadbhavana Pledge on the occasion.

The Sadbhavana Day Pledge calls upon the people ‘to work for the emotional oneness and harmony of all the people of India regardless of caste, creed, region, religion or language’ and to ‘resolve all differences through dialogue and constitutional means without resorting to violence’.
