Governor attends 74th Foundation Day Celebration of NAB; presents awards to Young Achievers

Maharashtra C. P. Radhakrishnan presided over the 74th Foundation Day of the National Association for the Blind (NAB) India at its premises in Worli, Mumbai on Mon (20 Jan.) The Governor presented various awards and Young Achievers awards on the occasion.

The Governor lauded NAB India’s initiatives, including the Braille Printing Press, Talking Books, Perfumery Training, and Teacher Training, which equip visually impaired persons with essential skills and opportunities for a dignified life.

The Governor congratulated the award recipients and Young Achievers for their extraordinary contributions, stating that their achievements are a source of inspiration.

President of NAB India Hemant Takle, Honorary Secretary General Harinder Kumar Mallik, Acting Honorary Secretary General Dr. Vimal Dengla, Executive Director Smt. Pallavi Kadam, and others were present.
