Various organisations tie Rakhi to Governor on Raksha Bandhan
Various socio-cultural and religious organisations celebrated Raksha Bandhan with State Governor C. P. Radhakrishnan at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Mon (19 Aug). The Governor extended his greetings and good wishes to all those who met him.
Brahmakumari Rukminiben, BK Vandana, BK Neha, BK Mala and BK Ketan Bhai from the Nepean Sea Road and Matunga Centers of Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya tied the Rakhi to the Governor. They also extended an invitation to the Governor to visit the Headquarters of the institution at Mount Abu.
Tribal women Bamboo workers from Palghar district working at the ‘Seva Vivek’ Gram Vikas Kendra project at Bhalivali, District Palghar tied the eco-friendly rakhi made of bamboo to the Governor.
Advisor of ‘Seva Vivek’ Padmashree Ramesh Patange, Director Pradeep Gupta and CEO Lukesh Band were present.
Rishabh Maru, President of Bharat Vikas Parishad accompanied by members of the Sanstha and former Corporator Nehal Shah met the Governor and tied the rakhi to his wrist.
Office bearers and inmates of the Mamata Bal Sadan (Balgruha) founded by the late social worker Sindhutai Sapkal met the Governor and tied rakhi to his wrist. They invited the Governor to visit the Sanstha located at Saswad (Pune).
