Maharashtra Governor presents Maharashtrian of the Year Award to CM Devendra Fadnavis

The Governor of Maharashtra C.P. Radhakrishnan presented the ‘Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Award 2025’ to State Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Wed (19th Mar).

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Rahul Narwekar, Chairman of the Lokmat Media Group Vijay Darda, former Minister Rajendra Darda and former Minister Jayant Patil were present on the occasion.

The Governor presented Special Awards to the Chairman and Managing Director of Bajaj Finserv Sanjiv Bajaj, Brahmavihari Swami of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha; actor Kartik Aaryan; and Special Commissioner of Mumbai Police Deven Bharti.

Minister for Industries & Marathi Language Uday Samant and Minister for Women & Child Development Aditi Tatkare were also given the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Award for their outstanding contribution in social service.

Yajurvendra Mahajan of Deepstambh Foundation, Municipal Commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Shekhar Singh, Mumbai DCP Dikshit Gedam, Teacher from Beed Sandeep Pawar, Agriculturist from Nashik Shivajirao Dole, Badminton sensation Chirag Shetty, Paediatric surgeon Dr. Jui Mandke, Dental Surgeon Dr. Sachin Khatri and industrialist Asa Singh, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Grasper Global Dhvanil Sheth, Co Founder Devanshi Kejriwal were also felicitated by the Governor on this occasion.
