Maharashtra Governor presides over Convocation of Jain Vishwa Bharti

Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais today presided over the 14th Annual Convocation of the Jain Vishwa Bharti Deemed University at CIDCO Convention Centre, Vashi, Navi Mumbai on Mon (19 Feb).

Head of the Jain Terapanth Acharya Mahashraman, Chancellor of Jain Vishwa Bharti University and Union Minister of State (I/C) for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal, Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. Bachchharaj Dugad and President of Jain Vishwa Bharti Amarchand Lunkad were prominent among those present on the occasion.

The Governor conferred Honorary D.Litt. (Honoris Causa) on well known banker and CEO of Jio Financial Centre and former CEO of ICICI Bank K. V. Kamath and renowned Sanskrit and Jain scholar Prof. Dayanand Bhargava on the occasion. Gold Medals were presented to candidates securing Ph.D.
