    JNPA to gift 1000 computers & Tabs to Eklavya Schools

    Maha Governor Bais applauds JNPA for developing Eklavya Schools in State

    A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in presence of Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais for the computerization of Eklavya Model Residential Schools in the State at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Wed (17 July).

    Under the project Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority will fund the purchase of 1000 computers and 76 Tabs for 38 Eklavya Model Residential Schools in the State.

    Complimenting JNPA for its thoughtful decision to fund the computerization of Eklavya Model Residential Schools, Governor Bais said the project will elevate the standards of instructions at the Eklavya Schools and prepare tribal students for the competitive world.

    The MoU was inked by the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) and the CDROME Education Society for the implementation of the computerization project of JNPA under its Corporate Social Responsibility.

    Chairman of JNPA Unmesh Wagh handed over a symbolic cheque and exchanged the MoU with President of CDROME Education Society Vijay Vaasekar.

    General Manager (Admn.) & Secretary, JNPA, Manisha Jadhav, CGM (M&EE) & CEO-SEZ, JNPA Niteen M. Borwankar, CGM (PP&D) JNPA G. Vaidyanathan, Deputy Conservator, JNPA Capt. Balasaheb V. Pawar, GM (Traffic) JNPA Girish Thomas, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India Dr. Raji N. S., Head of ERDC, Chandigarh Chetan Sahore and Officers from JNPA and the Department of Tribal Affairs were present.
