Maharashtra Governor condoles demise of Prof N D Patil

The Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari has expressed condolences on the demise of senior leader of the Peasants and Workers Party Prof N D Patil.

In a Condolence message, the Governor said, “Prof N D Patil was a strong leader who dedicated his life to fight for the causes of the common people, workers and farmers. He was a model people’s representative having served as a Member of the State Legislature for a long period. Prof. Patil was associated with various educational institutions and led numerous movements and agitations. In his demise the State has lost a sincere and dedicated voice of the people. I pay my respects to the departed leader and convey my deepest condolences to the members of the bereaved family.”
