Governor presides over the Convocation of the Ajeenkya DY Patil University

Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais presided over the 8th Convocation of the Ajeenkya DY Patil University at the University Campus in Lohegaon Pune.
Degrees were conferred upon the graduating students from the disciplines of Law, Design, Film, Media, Architecture, Management, Hotel Management etc.
Educationist Bharat Amalkar, Supreme Court lawyer J Sai Deepak, President of Restaurant Association of Great Britain Robert Walter, Defence Ministry Advisor Lt. Gen. Vinod Khandare (retd) and filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri were awarded honorary D. Litt. (Honoris Causa) by the Governor. Gold Medals were presented to toppers from various disciplines.
Chancellor of the University Dr. Ajeenkya D.Y.Patil, Vice-Chancellor Dr Hridayesh Deshpande, President Pooja Patil, Deans, Heads of Department, graduates and parents were present.
