Secretary to the Governor of Maharashtra, Dr. Prashant Narnaware, has urged women students across state universities to register actively on the Stree Shakti App under the Swayamsiddha Initiative. He emphasized awareness campaigns in urban and rural areas, voter education in collaboration with SNDT Women’s University and the State Election Commission, and women’s participation in sports, including football teams under the Mahadeva Project. Success stories from the initiative will be shared widely to inspire greater involvement.

Deputy Secretary to the Governor, S. Ramamoorthy, Joint Director (D.B.) Vikas Kulkarni, and various representatives involved in the implementation of the Swayamsiddha Initiative were present at the meeting through video conferencing.
