Governor Hoists the National Flag in Pune

Maharashtra Governor Jishnu Dev Varma hoisted the National Tricolor on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day at the Council Hall in Pune.

The police band played the National Song, National Anthem and the State Song even as the Governor saluted the national flag.

The Governor met elected representatives, senior citizens, children, government officials and citizens assembled at the venue and extended his Independence Day greetings to them.

Divisional Commissioner of Pune Sheetal Teli Ugale, Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar, Pimpri – Chinchwad Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey and District Collector Jitendra Dudi were among those prominently present.
