Maha Governor, Dy CM Ajit Pawar attend flag hoisting in Pune

Maharashtra Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar hoisted the National Tricolor on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day at the Council Hall in Pune on Thursday (15 Aug).

The police band played the National Anthem and the State Song even as the Governor saluted the national flag.

Local MPs, MLAs, people’s representatives, senior administrative and police officers and citizens and children were present.

The Governor exchanged Independence Day greetings with the people assembled on the occasion.
