Governor Koshyari presides over 118th Convocation of SPPU

Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari in his capacity as Chancellor of State universities presided over the 118th Convocation of the Savitribai Phule Pune University through online mode. Former Speaker of Lok Sabha Sumitra Mahajan, Minister of higher and technical education Uday Samant, Vice Chancellor Dr Nitin Karmalkar were present.

Degrees, Diplomas and PG degrees were conferred upon 161591 students while 58 M.Phil., 465 Ph.Ds and 119 Gold Medals were given away. Visually impaired student Vedant Umesh Mundada was presented the Rashtrapati Dr Shanker Dayal Sharma Gold Medal for Best Student.
