Governor Ramesh Bais attends Beating Retreat Ceremony on Navy Day

Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais attended the ‘Beating Retreat’ and Tattoo Ceremony organised by the Western Naval Command of Indian Navy at Gateway of India in Mumbai on the occasion of Navy Day on Thu (14 Dec).

Vice Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi, Flag Officer Commanding in Chief, Western Naval Command, serving and retired officers of Indian Navy and invitees from various walks of life were present.

The impressive event included breath-taking performances by the naval central band, a short operational demonstration, the Beating Retreat Ceremony, helicopter drills and fly-past, precision drill by naval personnel and the Sailor’s Dance by girls of the Sea Cadet Corps. The delightful Dance by the young cadets of the Sea Cadet Corps received thunderous applause from the audience.
