Governor’s Secretary reviews preparation for forthcoming Conference on Natural Farming

In connection with the forthcoming Conference on Natural Farming scheduled to be addressed by Governor Acharya Devvrat in Pune on November 18, the Secretary to the Governor Dr. Prashant Narnaware conducted a review meeting with the officials of Agriculture Department and Vice Chancellors of Agricultural Universities on Thursday (13th).

The Secretary to the Governor reviewed the various initiatives and programmes relating to Natural Farming being implemented by the State Agricultural Universities and the Agriculture Department in Maharashtra. Future plans to promote Natural Farming were also discussed.

Vice Chancellors of the State Agricultural Universities and officials from the Animal Sciences University (MAFSU) participated in the meeting through virtual mode.
Officials from the Agriculture Department’s ATMA, Nanaji Deshmukh Krishi Sanjeevani Project (POCRA), Maharashtra Agribusiness Network (MAGNET), SMART Project, and the Fisheries Department attended the meeting in person at Raj Bhavan Mumbai.
