13.05.2025: The Governor of Maharashtra C. P. Radhakrishnan were distributed the 36th 'Kamgar Bhushan Award' and 'Vishwakarma Gunwant Kamgar Puraskar - 2023' organided by the Maharashtra Workers Welfare Board at Hutatma Babu Genu Mumbai Girni Kamgar Krida Bhavan, Mumbai. The Governor honored Shrinivas Kondiba Kalamkar, a multi-skill operator from Bajaj Auto Ltd., Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar with the 'Kamgar Bhushan Award' and 51 meritorious workers in the state with the 'Vishwakarma Gunwant Kamgar Puraskars - 2023' on this occasion. Earlier, the Governor offered tributes to half-length statue of Hutatma Babu Genu, the portrait of the Primitive Lord Vishwakarma and Rao Bahadur Narayan Meghaji Lokhande. The Governor released a special issue of 'Shram Kalyan Yug Vishwakarma Gunwant Kamgar'. The Labour Minister Adv. Akash Fundkar, Minister of State for Labour Adv. Ashish Jaiswal, MLC, Manisha Kayande and MLA Manoj Jamsutkar, Principal Secretary of the Labor Department I. A. Kundan, Labor Commissioner Dr. H. P. Tummod, Labor Welfare Commissioner Raviraj Ilve, etc. were present.
