Governor presides over the 9th Convocation Ceremony of the Gondwana University, Gadchiroli

Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari presided over the 9th Convocation Ceremony of the Gondwana University at Gadchiroli.

Chairman of the National Commission of Scheduled Tribes Harsh Chauhan, Guardian Minister of Gadchiroli and Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde, Vice Chancellor Prof Shrinivas Varakhedi and Pro VC Dr Shriram Kawale were present.

The Honorary degree of ‘Manav Vigyan Pandit’ was conferred on the founder of the Sampoorna Bamboo Kendra late Sunil Deshpande (posthumously) and Head of the Mendhalekha Gram Sabha Devaji Tofa. Smt Nirupama Deshpande accepted the honour for late Sunil Deshpande.

Candidates receiving Gold medals and top awards in various faculties and those getting Ph.Ds were honoured at the hands of the Governor.
