PM Modi to unveil underground ‘Gallery of Revolutionaries’ in Raj Bhavan; Will also unveil Governor’s New Residence

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will inaugurate ‘Kranti Gatha’ a newly created Gallery of Indian Revolutionaries inside the underground British – era bunker at Raj Bhavan Mumbai on Tuesday (14th June).
The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the reconstructed residential building ‘Jal Bhushan’ that will house the office and residence of the State Governor. He will also visit the historic Sri Gundi temple located in the Raj Bhavan premises on the occasion.
Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Minister of Public Works Ashok Chavan, Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court Justice Dipankar Datta, people’s representative and invited guests will remain present.
The Gallery of Indian Revolutionaries has been created in the bunker – discovered below Raj Bhavan in 2016 – as a tribute to the known and unknown revolutionaries of the Indian freedom movement. It is being dedicated in the year when India is celebrating the Platinum Jubilee of its Independence. The Gallery of Revolutionaries has been created under the guidance of historian and writer Dr Vikram Sampath with assistance from the South Central Zonal Cultural Centre, Nagpur.
