    11.02.2026: Secretary to the Governor of Maharashtra, Dr. Prashant Narnaware, interacted with 60 CM Fellows from the 7th batch of the Chief Minister’s Fellowship Programme, who are currently undergoing internships across various districts in the Maharshtra state at Lok Bhavan, Mumbai. Priya Khan, Chief Liaison Officer of the Chief Minister’s Fellowship Scheme,  Dr Nishikant Deshpande, Comptroller of the Governor's Households and Protocol Officer Archana Gaikwad were also present.

    Dr Prashant Narnaware, Secretary to the Governor of Maharashtra today remarked that exposure to administrative service provided to youths under the Chief Minister Fellowship programme will certainly help them to stay ahead in their future careers. He was interacting with the 7th batch of Chief Ministers’ Fellowship programme at Lok Bhavan Mumbai on Wed (11 Feb).

    About 60 CM fellows undergoing internship at various districts in the State were present.

    Dr Narnaware said meritorious students from across the State are selected under the Chief Minister’s Fellowship Scheme. He said the scheme provides young fellows with an opportunity to work closely with District Collectors, Chief Executive Officers of Zilla Parishads, Heads of Departments in the Mantralaya, Secretaries, Ministers, and even the Hon’ble Chief Minister.

    He advised the selected fellows to adopt technology but also to go beyond artificial intelligence in their work. He encouraged them to choose a specific area of interest within the field of public policy and develop expertise in it.

    He emphasised the importance of strengthening emotional intelligence alongside artificial intelligence.

    During his address, Dr Narnaware also briefed the fellows about the constitutional, parliamentary, tribal development, educational, and protocol-related functions of Lok Bhavan.

    Priya Khan, Chief Liaison Officer of the Chief Minister’s Fellowship Scheme, stated that the programme enriches the professional experience of selected youth. She added that Chief Minister’s Fellows are awarded a certificate in Public Policy from IIT Bombay.

    Dr Nishikant Deshpande, Comptroller of the Governor’s Households and Protocol Officer Archana Gaikwad were also present.

    Earlier, the Chief Minister’s Fellows had a tour around the historic premises of Lok Bhavan.
