Maharashtra Governor inaugurates world’s 2nd largest Gem & Jewellery Show in Mumbai
Maharashtra Governor C P Radhakrishnan inaugurated the 5 – day India International Jewellery Show (IIJS – 2024) Premiere organised by the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council at the Jio World Convention Centre at BKC Mumbai on Thu (8 Aug).
The India International Jewellery Show is stated to be the 2nd largest Business to Business Jewellery Fair in the world. The Governor released the Pocket Guide to IIJS 2024 on the occasion.
Minister of Skills and Employment Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Chairman of Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council Vipul Shah, Vice Chairman Kirit Bhansali, Brand Ambassador of the event Manushi Chhillar, Executive Vice President of Diamond Trading ‘De Beers Group’ Paul Rowley, Convenor Nirav Bhansali, MD of Joyalukkas Group Paul Alukkas, Clients, Retailers, Exporters and Exhibitors from across the world were present.
According to the organizers, India International Jewellery Show has emerged as the 2nd largest Business to Business Jewellery Fair in the world, showcasing Diamond, Gold, Platinum, and Silver Jewellery along with loose Natural Diamonds, Gemstones, and Lab-grown diamonds.
More than 50,000 trade visitors and exporters from 60 countries are participating in the 5 – day Show.
