08.03.2021: PM presided over the first meeting of National Committee to commemorate the ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the first meeting of the National Committee to commemorate the ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’ – the 75th Anniversary of Independence – conducted through online platform. Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari attended the meeting from Raj Bhavan. Union Home Minister and Chairman of the National Implementation Committee Amit Shah, former President Pratibha Patil, former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, BJP President J P Nadda, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge, former Lok Sabha Speakers Meira Kumar and Sumitra Mahajan and Maulana Wahiduddin Khan expressed their views.
